HONOR X9e S Unveiled With 8,560mAh Battery and 120Hz AMOLED Display

HONOR has officially introduced the X9e S in the Middle East, bringing another battery-focused smartphone to its increasingly competitive mid-range portfolio.
The new device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs MagicOS 10, based on Android 16.
One of its biggest selling points is the 8,560mAh battery, which HONOR says can deliver up to three days of use under certain conditions. The phone also supports 80W wired fast charging and reverse charging, allowing users to power other compatible devices.
A 120Hz AMOLED display and practical cameras
The HONOR X9e S features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
On the camera side, the smartphone offers a 50MP main sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
While the camera hardware is relatively modest compared with premium smartphones, the overall configuration appears designed for everyday use rather than professional photography.
Durability is another major selling point
HONOR has also focused on making the X9e S more resistant to everyday accidents. The device carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, alongside additional durability testing.
The smartphone is available in three colours: Dawn Orange, Midnight Black and Glacier White.
Price and availability
The HONOR X9e S launched in the Middle East with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its starting price is SAR 1,499, approximately $399.
There is currently no confirmed global release date, so availability in European markets remains uncertain.
With its unusually large battery, fast charging and smooth AMOLED display, the HONOR X9e S could attract buyers looking for a practical mid-range smartphone that prioritises endurance over premium specifications.
