Remarkable has introduced a new digital notebook, the Paper Pure. Unlike recent Pro versions, it lacks the advanced color screen, but the proven black-and-white E-Ink display has been significantly improved. Its key feature is performance: thanks to updated hardware, the device is twice as fast when turning pages and zooming as the Remarkable 2.

The new device features a 10.3-inch display with a resolution of 1872 × 1404 pixels and a pixel density of 226 ppi, matching the specifications of its predecessor, but with a wider screen. Engineers reduced the device’s weight by 40 grams (totaling 360 grams) and increased the internal storage to 32 GB—four times more than the reMarkable 2. The company also announced a 50% increase in screen responsiveness and a 30% increase in battery life thanks to a 3820 mAh battery.

To meet modern requirements, the manufacturer has added numerous features, including calendar syncing and automatic conversion of documents from cloud storage into a readable format directly on the tablet. Improved handwriting search algorithms and integration with corporate messaging apps and collaboration tools like Slack and Miro allow you to quickly convert handwritten notes and sketches into digital format for sharing with colleagues.

The basic Paper Pure version will cost $399, while the advanced bundle with a stylus and case will cost $449. Pre-orders are now open, and first shipments will begin in early June.
