Apple Watch Pro Will Get A Flat Screen And A New Button In A 49mm Case
Over the past few days, we’ve seen a plethora of new Apple Watch Pro leaks that have been rumored. The Apple Watch Pro will be officially unveiled during Apple’s “Far Out” event on Wednesday alongside the iPhone 14 lineup.
These new leaks, including our first look at the new design, show that Apple is sparing no expense on the Apple Watch Pro. However, with a few exceptions, it’s clear that the Apple Watch Pro isn’t for mass.
The Apple Watch Pro CAD rendering was created from industry sources and indicates the design features of the alleged smartwatches. Renders suggest the Apple Watch Pro could have a large display with thin bezels. The watch also features a rotating crown protruding from the right side, located next to a pill-shaped button and a microphone hole.
The watch itself will be 49 mm in size. Not suitable for everyone. The watch will appeal to ordinary buyers of advanced Garmin watches. Mr. Gurman claims that the Apple Watch Pro will be designed “for hard-working mountain biking, hiking and marathon athletes.”
The watch will receive a titanium case. According to Mark Gurman, you can use old straps. Apparently, we are talking about watches with 44- and 45-mm cases. By the way, on the renders you can see that the edges of the straps will not go to the borders of the watch case, as happens with smaller models.
The price will be $800-1000 before taxes. Thus, the Apple Watch Pro will compete with the expensive models of Garmin, the company that leads the category “smart watches over $500”.
