Alibaba Introduces Free AI Programmer Qoder

The company has introduced a development service with AI assistants for writing and editing code. It has a chatbot mode and an agent mode.
When running Agent Mode, the Qoder platform acts as an intelligent coding assistant, simplifying the specialist’s work in basic-level tasks – the user retains full control over the AI. In Quest Mode, the Qoder system turns into a full-fledged engineer who produces tested and ready-to-use code. The developer only needs to create specifications, delegate tasks and monitor their implementation. Qoder independently creates a work plan, breaks down tasks into detailed sequences of actions, creates function implementations, automates testing and validation – in other words, does all the work for a person.
Qoder will be completely free for “several” weeks. Then a trial period will be introduced, which will last two weeks – with a limit on the number of requests to the AI agent. The cost of paid plans will be determined after the launch of the alpha version.
