Lamborghini started the tradition of creating unusual small-series cars based on its flagship supercars back in 2007, when it showed the Reventon model. Since then, two generations of 12-cylinder Lamborghinis have changed – two years ago, the hybrid Lamborghini Revuelto debuted. And now it serves as the basis for the new limited-edition Fenomeno model.

The Fenomeno is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 835 cv (cv is metric horsepower) coupled with three electric motors producing 245 cv, giving it a combined output of 1,080 cv or 1,065 hp. For comparison, the Lamborghini Revuelto produces 1,015 cv (1,001 hp).

Lamborghini said the increase in power was made possible by a new, unique 7 kWh battery. The new battery gives the Fenomeno a range of just 20 km in pure EV mode. By comparison, the Revuelto has a 3.8 kWh battery, which is enough for just a few seconds of EV operation.

The Fenomeno also has a record power-to-weight ratio of 1.64 kg/cv, which Lamborghini says is the best in the brand’s 62-year history. The new model’s maximum torque is the same as the Revuelto’s: 725 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The Fenomeno accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the Revuelto. The hypercar’s maximum speed is over 350 km/h.

The Lamborghini Fenomeno hypercar will be released in a limited edition of 29 units, and each of them, according to preliminary information, will cost at least $3.5 million. For comparison: the price of the original Revuelto is from $610 thousand.
