AI Bot DeepSeek to Be Integrated Into Select BMW Vehicles

Chinese AI model DeepSeek will be integrated into new BMW cars for the Chinese market, techinasia.com reported on Wednesday, citing a statement from the company.

This was announced by the company’s CEO, Oliver Zipse, during the Shanghai Auto Show: “Key advances in artificial intelligence are happening right here today. We are strengthening our AI partnerships to integrate these technologies into our cars for China. Starting later this year, we will begin to integrate DeepSeek AI into new cars for the Chinese market.”

BMW previously announced a strategic partnership with Huawei to integrate the Chinese company’s HarmonyOS NEXT operating system into the next generation of the Neue Klasse family of electric vehicles produced in China.
