The Game Universe Of “Alien” Will Be Replenished With A Single-Player Action-Horror
Not even a year has passed since the release of the cooperative shooter Aliens: Fireteam, as it turned out that two more projects are in development for the cult franchise in general and for the sequel to James Cameron in particular. In early summer, Focus Entertainment announced the action-strategy Aliens: Dark Descent, which will be released in 2023. And now information about a new, as yet unnamed game has been leaked.
Aliens will have many exciting gameplay elements. The game will be released for consoles, PC and VR. Developed on the Unreal Engine 5, the game is likely to feature stunning graphics. The game’s plot is unknown, but Survios has stated that it will be a single-player adventure set after Alien, but before the film’s sequel. It is about a veteran of the armed forces who is faced with the desire to destroy the aliens, or xenomorphs. Gamers will likely be able to customize their character to some extent.
Aliens is still in development and will not be released any time soon. However, there are a few more details about this game that viewers can learn from Survios. The game won’t just be a horror movie; it will also have a significant action element, presumably involving players and various types of xenomorphs. And judging by the promotional images from Survios, players might assume the game will take place aboard ships and outposts like those seen in James Cameron’s movie. Of course, details about the game cards will not be confirmed until Survios releases more information about their game in development.
The story will be something completely new and will hopefully be extremely effective in VR.
