Nintendo Has No Pllans To Release DLC For Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

In a conversation with Famitsu, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom producer Eiji Aonuma said that Nintendo has no plans to release expansion packs for the game. He said the reason was that the team had already done everything they could.

Indeed, Aonuma said that plans for the next Zelda game “may return to the same world again” through another game that would be a sequel – or alternatively, a “new work”.

“We don’t have any plans to release additional content this time around, but that’s because I feel like I’ve done my best to make games in this world,” Aonuma said.

“Firstly, the reason we chose this time as a continuation of the previous game is because we thought it would be beneficial to experience a new kind of game in this location in Hyrule. Then, if such a cause was born recently, he can return to the same world again.
