MediaTek To Introduce The flagship Dimensity 9300+ Processor With Advanced AI Functions On May 7

MediaTek is going to put an end to the confrontation with Qualcomm this year by releasing SoC Dimensity 9300+. The announcement will take place on May 7 at the MediaTek Dimensity MDDC 2024 conference.

MediaTek’s announcement suggests that the new Dimensity 9300+ chip will offer enhanced support for various artificial intelligence functions. And the event itself, at which the new processor will be presented, is called “AI for Everything”.

thanks to the leak, it became known how the Dimensity 9300+ will differ from the original Dimensity 9300 model. The new chip will offer higher performance due to the clock frequency of the main Cortex-X4 core increased from 3.25 to 3.4 GHz. The other three Cortex-X4 cores will run at the same 2.85 GHz, as will the four Cortex-A720 cores (2.0 GHz).

The Vivo X100s will be the first to feature the Dimensity 9300+ and the device scores an impressive 2.3 million points in AnTuTu. Typically, smartphones based on Dimensity 9300 are limited to 2-2.1 million points.
