Honor Unveils Magic6 Lite Powered By Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Chip
The Chinese company Honor presented the first sign in the Magic6 series, a brief announcement of which took place at the end of October. It was the younger model called Honor Magic6 Lite, which debuted immediately on the international market.
In the new model, Honor replaced the Snapdragon 695 5G processor with a more modern Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory.
Honor has used a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2652 × 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The predecessor had a screen 0.11 inches smaller and with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The device is equipped with a 5300 mAh battery with support for 35 W wired charging. Thus, Magic6 Lite received a battery with a slightly larger capacity than its predecessor (5100 mAh).
Magic6 Lite received a 108-megapixel main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, which is another improvement compared to the Magic5 lite camera, which had a 64-megapixel sensor and optics with an f/1.8 aperture. But the additional cameras have not changed: a 5-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 16-megapixel front camera also remains the same.
The cost of Honor Magic 6 Lite has not yet been specified. The smartphone will go on sale in the European market on December 27, 2023 in three colors: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Sunrise Orange.
