Elon Musk Plans To Send About A Million People To Mars

American billionaire Elon Musk intends to send about 1 million people to Mars to successfully colonize the planet. He spoke about this during an event at SpaceX.

According to Musk, SpaceX is already laying the foundation for future space missions. One of the main advances in this regard is the reuse of rocket parts. The company will improve Starship, as well as increase production capacity, since more than one hundred rockets are required to conquer Mars. Starship 3 will participate in the Mars mission.

Musk’s company is currently working on Starship rockets. Starship is scheduled to take off and land on Earth in 2025.

New technologies will also be required: next year the company plans to demonstrate a system for space refueling – transferring fuel from one ship to another. According to Musk, this is a very important stage in the Mars program: one flight to Mars will require 5-6 refuelings of the ship in orbit.

Previously, the founder of SpaceX also stated that the population of the Earth needs to explore space and populate other planets.
