DuckDuckGo Browser Is Finally Available For Windows Computers

The privacy-focused DuckDuckGo browser is now available on Windows PCs as a public beta for everyone to enjoy. The app has already been released for macOS and mobile devices

DuckDuckGo differs from other browsers in that it does not collect or transfer user data to third parties by default. The developer reports that the browser uses about 60% less traffic compared to the same Google Chrome. When you enter any site, DuckDuckGo will block geolocation tracking, encrypt most of your traffic, disable all tracking services, and hide intrusive ads, as well as empty page spaces on sites where banner ads were previously located. It also has a built-in password manager. In the future, support for various extensions will be added to the DuckDuckGo browser.

The browser has a built-in Duck Player that allows you to watch YouTube without ads. Before watching, he will “cut” the video from the site and embed it into his page without trackers and ads. Among other features, there is also the possibility of deleting history with the click of a button. In addition, the user can hide their real email address using the @duck.com placeholder.

The DuckDuckGo browser for Windows is already available for download on the official website.  You can install it on any version of the popular “window system”, starting with Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004).
