Lenovo Introduced ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable for $3,499
Lenovo introduced a unique ThinkBook Plus laptop with a rollable screen at CES 2025.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a logical continuation of the concept laptop with an upward-extending screen that Lenovo first showed in 2023. When folded, the laptop offers a 14-inch display, but when needed, it can expand upward, increasing the screen diagonal to 16.7 inches.
You can open the screen completely by pressing a special key or using the corresponding gesture on the laptop camera. This approach gives almost 50% additional screen space. Despite the ability to significantly increase the screen size, the laptop is made in a 19.9 mm thick case, and its weight is only 1.7 kg.
Lenovo’s new Copilot+PC notebook will be available in a variety of configurations with Intel Core Ultra processors, which deliver high levels of performance for AI-based tasks while remaining energy efficient.
The developers equipped the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable with an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 400 cd/m². The panel provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is expected to be available in Q1 2025 with a starting price of $3,499.00.
