Flashback 2 Story Trailer Published
Publisher Microids has published a story trailer for Flashback 2, the continuation of the cult 1992 game.
The release of the sci-fi platformer Flashback 2 will take place on November 16, 2023. Thus, the second part will be released 31 years after the first. Flashback: The Quest for Identity was released in 1992 for PC and all current consoles of the time.
The events of Flashback 2 will unfold in the 22nd century, when the fate of humanity is again in the balance: insidious morphs led by the formidable General Lazarus decide to subjugate all civilizations.
In search of his missing friend Ian, familiar Galactic Bureau of Investigation agent Conrad Hart, along with his allies and the legendary AI weapon A.I.S.H.A. will plunge into a “thrilling adventure full of revelations and twists.”
The Flashback 2 story trailer, combining gameplay footage and comic-stylized cutscenes, promises an alien conspiracy of unprecedented proportions and a fight against an invisible enemy.
To prevent the morphs’ sinister plan from coming to fruition, Conrad and the users of Flashback 2 will have to challenge the aliens and use all their skills.
The release is planned for PC and two generations of consoles – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch.
