Roblox Is Coming To Meta Quest VR Headsets
Meta Quest VR headset users will soon be able to run Roblox on their devices.
Roblox has announced that it will launch open beta testing for Quest 2, Quest Pro, and the upcoming Quest 3 in the coming weeks.
“Roblox will automatically publish features that use custom scenarios by default with support for VR devices. They found that these features usually play well in VR without modification, so the Roblox VR library will be filled with great content from day one,” Meta said.
Roblox clarified that there are now more than 15 million “active adventures” on the platform. The virtual reality version will support cross-platform connections – it will be possible to play with owners of Xbox, PC and mobile devices. Support for virtual reality headsets has already been implemented in the PC version of the platform – just connect an Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Valve Index headset or the same Quest 2 headset to the car. But the new version of the game optimized for Quest will be easier to set up and run, like other applications from Meta Quest store.
