Google Announces Pixel Fold Foldable Smartphone

Google did not disclose the specifications of the device. In a short teaser, you can see that the smartphone opens similarly to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold devices. The camera panel is made in the same way as other Pixel smartphones.

According to reports, Google Pixel Fold will receive a 7.6-inch complex and 5.8-inch external display, Tensor G2 chipset with 12 GB of RAM, a triple rear camera (48 + 10.8 + 10.8 MP) and Android 13  from the box. When the Pixel Fold is closed, you can use a smaller touchscreen that’s on one side of the exterior. There’s a camera array on the rear.

The novelty is equipped with a larger battery, which, according to Google, will last for 24 hours or up to 72 hours in low power mode.

The Google Pixel Fold is expected to premiere on May 10 at the Google I/O event. The Pixel Fold with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is expected to cost $1,800, while the top version with 512 GB of storage will cost $1,920.
