PC VR Headset “MeganeX” Coming To Market Soon

The ultra-slim and super-lightweight Meganex PC VR headset will soon go on sale. The combination of an HDR-enabled OLED micro display and Panasonic pancake lenses reduces the weight by up to 320 grams (without cables). The ear pads can be folded for easy portability. Speakers are built in, headphones can be plugged in.

Shiftall sells two versions of the Meganex. The standard version is aimed at wealthy consumers and costs $1,699.

The Business Edition added diopter adjustment and a nose pad instead of a forehead pad for faster on and off.  Both devices come with a Lighthouse adapter.

In addition, the company is showing off two new accessories that will bring great benefits to the VTubers among you. The first of these is Haritora X Wireless, a full body tracking solution for SteamVR that allows full control of the torso and legs in virtual space. The setup uses four stripes, one around the chest, hips, knees and ankles, giving your digital avatar the ability to dance and kick. Haritoria X Wireless will set you back $350.

Another new addition is Flip VR, a handheld controller for SteamVR that uses beacon tracking to track the position of your hands. They are held on the arm with a strap across the palm, rather than being gripped.
