Publisher Blumhouse Games and developers Vermila Studios have announced the release date of their first-person adventure horror shooter Crisol: Theater of Idols.

Crisol: Theater of Idols has been announced to be available for purchase on February 10, 2026, for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. The announcement was accompanied by an intense gameplay trailer.

The project marks the Spanish team’s debut. Crisol is inspired by religious motifs, folklore, and iconic series like BioShock and Resident Evil. The story takes place in a dystopian version of Spain. The protagonist, a soldier named Gabriel, travels to the island of Tormentos to uncover the mystery of the sun god’s disappearance.

Crisol combines elements of a first-person shooter and adventure horror. Players must explore ruined temples, solve puzzles, avoid invulnerable creatures, and fight others using weapons that feed on the hero’s own blood.

They promise a tense adventure, a dark plot that blurs the boundaries between dream and reality, and challenging puzzles (blood will be needed to solve them). A demo is available on Steam.
