World’s First Car That Allows To Play PlayStation Games Via PS Remote Play

Sony announced that the first car supporting PS Remote Play will soon hit the market.

This car will be the Afeela model from Sony Honda Mobility, a joint venture established several years ago by Sony and Honda.

Sony and Honda announced the Afeela In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system for the Afeela 1 with Remote Play support. Remote play requires a powered-on console at home to stream gameplay.

As with any online technology, there are some caveats. Of course, this isn’t cloud gaming in the traditional sense, so the car owner will need their own PS5 console to use this feature. Sony also recommends a “stable internet connection with a speed of 15 Mbps for smooth Remote Play.”

The introduction of PS Remote Play embodies Afeela’s vision for mobility: transforming travel into an immersive and emotional destination. With this integration, we elevate the customer’s entire travel experience to an unprecedented level of entertainment,” said Izumi Kawanishi, President of Sony Honda Mobility.

Apparently, the machine will support PS Remote Play from day one. Sales are scheduled to begin in 2026, but there are no details yet.
