Tecno Unveils Spark Slim and Pova Slim – Ultra-Thin Smartphones

Tecno has officially unveiled the Tecno Spark Slim and Tecno Pova Slim smartphones, which focus on the minimal thickness of the case. It is only 5.75 mm, while the battery capacity is an impressive 5160 mAh.
The Tecno Spark Slim is 5.93mm thick and weighs 156g, while the Pova Slim is 5.95mm and weighs the same. To achieve these figures, Tecno has redesigned the internal components, including the battery, speaker, SIM card slot, and USB Type-C connector, which is only 0.45mm thick.
The vapor chamber of both smartphones is just 0.3mm thick, while the batteries are 4.04mm thick. Tecno has also used its proprietary Honeycomb technology to maximize the space inside the smartphones. Both models feature a back panel made of aerospace-grade fiberglass that is just 0.36mm thick.
Both models use a 5160 mAh battery with support for fast wired charging at 45 W and reverse wired charging at 10 W. The smartphones also received IP64 water and dust protection, and come with Android 15 with the proprietary HiOS interface and a set of AI features from Tecno.
Both models feature 50-megapixel cameras and curved AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 cd / sq.m. The Spark Slim is built on the MediaTek Helio G200 SoC, while the Pova Slim is based on the Dimensity 6400 SoC.
The smartphones will go on sale on September 4, initially only in India. The price of Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim has not yet been announced, but the devices are expected to be positioned in the mid-price segment.
