First Teaser Trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2
The main event for cyberpunk fans took place at Anime Expo 2025: the announcement of the second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, as well as the showing of the first teaser. The video was shown exclusively to festival visitors, and, of course, the recording has already leaked online.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 viewers will be treated to a new standalone story of revenge and redemption in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Apparently, the key characters of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will not return in the sequel.
“David’s story is over. But life in Night City goes on. In a city that teems with cruelty, there is only one question left to answer: when the world craves spectacle, what are you willing to do to leave your mark?” the authors intrigue.
Netflix’s debut teaser trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is less than a minute long (see embedded video below) and contains major spoilers for the first season and very little for the second.
The series is once again being created in collaboration with CD Projekt RED and will be released on Netflix. As before, we are expecting 10 episodes. The premiere date has not yet been announced, but judging by the teaser shown, work is in full swing.
