Character.AI Launches Video Generation
Character.AI, a chatbot platform for conversations with AI characters, has introduced new multimedia features, including the AvatarFX video generator, as well as Scenes and Streams tools that allow you to create videos with AI characters and share them on your social feed.
The user only needs to upload a photo, select a voice, enter text, and the system will bring the image to life, making it speak or even sing. Up to five generations per day are available for free. The created videos can not only be saved, but also embedded into interactive scenes with other characters.
These scenes are already working in the Character AI mobile app and allow you to create mini-stories in which virtual characters interact with each other. In addition, the company has added a new format – streams, where two characters participate in dynamic scenes without a pre-written script.
Character.AI emphasizes that it “strives to balance creative freedom and safety.” According to the company, the goal of the platform is to provide users with interesting tools for self-expression while minimizing potential threats.
