AMD Advancing AI Event Set for June 12

AMD’s official X social media account has notified users of the upcoming Advancing AI event, which is expected to feature new products for the high-performance computing and artificial intelligence segment.

AMD is expected to announce the Instinct MI355X AI accelerators. The company previously stated that this product will be released in the second half of 2025. The accelerators will use CDNA 4 GPUs manufactured using a 3 nm process technology, as well as up to 288 GB of HBM3e memory. The company may also share fresh details about the Instinct MI400 accelerators, scheduled for release in 2026. They will be the first AMD AI accelerators to use HBM4 memory.

For ordinary users, this event may not be very interesting, since gaming video cards are clearly not to be expected during its implementation.
