Ubisoft Has Postponed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to 2023-2024

According to Ubisoft, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a planned open-world first-person adventure, has been delayed until at least April 2023. It was originally supposed to be released in 2022. The game’s release has been delayed until Ubisoft announces fiscal year 2023-24 starting in April as part of the company’s first quarter release of results. A more precise release date has not been specified.

Massive Entertainment cites the desire to release a game that would “take full advantage of next-generation technologies” as the reason for the postponement. This and a number of other company decisions came as a reaction to the ongoing production constraints faced by the entire industry.
