Square Enix Is Shutting Down Four Mobile Games, Including Deus Ex Go And Hitman Sniper
Developers from Square Enix Montreal announced that some of the studio’s games will be permanently removed from sale by decision of the management of the Embracer Group holding. Among the projects was the successful turn-based puzzle game Deus Ex Go.
In a statement posted on Twitter today, the studio announced the closure of four mobile games: Arena Battle Champions, Deus Ex Go, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and Space Invaders: Hidden Heroes. Not only will they be removed from their respective stores on December 1st, but they won’t be playable at all after January 4th. You will also no longer be able to buy anything in these games, and any purchases already made will not be refunded, so be sure to use them in the next few weeks.
So far, there are no signs that other popular Onoma games like Lara Croft Go and Hitman Go are doomed to close in the near future.
