EA Sports College Football Coming Sometime Summer 2024
EA has revealed that the long-awaited Sports College Football will only be released in the summer of 2024.
EA Vice President and General Manager Daryl Holt told ESPN:
“This is the best date for us to present a game that we believe will meet or exceed our player expectations and capture the breadth and scope of what we want from the game,” Holt said. “We’re trying to create a very fun college football experience.”
He also assured that College Football will not just be an updated version of EA’s Madden NFL series: “We want to make sure it’s completely unique varsity football. If anyone cares that it’s going to be a Madden clone or anything like that, then I assure you it’s definitely not our intention and not how we’re approaching it.”
However, Holt said that Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory will appear in the game, and more than 120 teams will be represented in EA Sports College Football.
