Ubisoft confirmed in a comment to Eurogamer that it plans to resume releasing its games on Steam. The first “new” release of the publisher on the Valve platform will be Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which has already received a page on Steam and will be available there on December 6 along with the final content update.

A representative of Ubisoft in a conversation with journalists Eurogamer confirmed the rumors that have been circulating on the network for a long time: the company is returning to Steam.

“We are constantly thinking about how to present our games to a wider audience, while at the same time providing a unified ecosystem of players through Ubisoft Connect,” says Ubisoft, which at one time decided to release games only on the Epic Games Store and its own store.

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla page is now live on Steam and will be releasing on Steam on December 6th. The city-building strategy game Anno 1800 and the shareware Roller Champions will also be available later in the Valve store, but the exact release dates for these games have not been announced.
