Microsoft Introduced A White Version Of Xbox Series X Without An Optical Drive
Microsoft presented several new variations of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S game consoles at the Xbox Games Showcase event.
Among the new products is a white Xbox Series X, information about which and photos from the production line appeared online in early 2024.
A white version of the Xbox Series S with 1 TB storage will also be available for $349.99. The white variant of the Xbox Series X mentioned above won’t be available with an optical drive, so Microsoft is calling it “all digital.” Preliminary leaks indicate that the console could receive a more efficient cooling system as part of the update, but there are no official reviews yet, so it’s too early to judge. The performance level of the new version of the console remains the same.
The company has not announced release dates and prices for new versions of the devices. Presumably, the consoles will go on sale in November in honor of the fourth anniversary of the original Xbox Series X.
