Microsoft Announces Third Round Of Multi-Billion Investment In OpenAI

Microsoft has made its third round of multibillion-dollar investments in OpenAI after 2019 and 2021. The money will be used to independently research and develop artificial intelligence to make it “safer, more useful and more powerful.”  So reported in their blogs, both companies.

“We have founded our partnership with OpenAI around a shared commitment to responsibly advance cutting-edge AI research and democratize AI as an emerging technology platform,” said Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO.

The software giant will provide OpenAI with Azure cloud power, which will allow the company to further close the gap with AWS. After all, Microsoft plans to expand its cloud business. In addition, the corporation will introduce OpenAI neural network models into its products, and will also release new products based on them.

In particular, it was previously reported that the Bing search engine will receive support for ChatGPT. AI support will also appear in the Office suite.
