Huawei Watch GT 2e is a sportier Watch GT 2
Alongside the new P40 series, Huawei introduced its new wearable – Watch GT 2e. This is basically a new version of the 46mm Watch GT 2 but it’ll also be cheaper at 199 euro. The watch has the same 1.39″ AMOLED display with 454 x 454px resolution. The hardware buttons are now rectangular and there are new types of “breathable” bands in different colors.
The watch body is built out of stainless steel and there is a black version. Watch GT 2e is water-resistant and has a 2 weeks battery life. It also features the Kirin A1, GPS, Bluetooth, heart-rate monitor, and SpO2 monitoring. There are over 100 types of exercises you can track, including rock climbing, surfing, street dance, skateboarding and swimming. You also get 4GB of storage for about 500 songs and of course there are integrated microphone and speaker for voice conversations via the phone.
The new watch will be available with Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green, and Icy White bands. There are also two new color options for the Watch GT 2 42mm – Champagne Gold and Chestnut Red that will sell for 229 euro.
