Huawei Mate 70 Pro Design and Specs Revealed in New Leak
Huawei continues to prepare for the launch of its new Mate 70 series of smartphones, and a fresh leak offers an interesting look at the expected Mate 70 Pro model. TechBoilers has obtained an image of the back of the Mate 70 Pro.
According to the leak, the Mate 70 Pro will have a different main camera island. The new model will still have a round one and will be located closer to the center of the smartphone, but the glass ring of the camera island will be wider than last year’s Mate 60 Pro.
The flash module of the new device has moved from the top of the ring to the bottom. The island now has the inscription “AI-DC”, which may indicate improved image processing capabilities using AI.
According to the source, the Mate 70 Pro will receive a new Kirin 9100 processor. The previous model, we recall, is based on the Kirin 9000s, which at one time caused a stir among the American authorities. It is also reported that the main module of the main camera block of the Mate 70 Pro will be 60-megapixel instead of 50-megapixel in its predecessor.
It’s important to remember that this information is based on leaks, and Huawei has yet to officially confirm the Mate 70 Pro. Whether these changes are enough to compete with other manufacturers’ flagships remains an open question.
