DARPA Is Working On AR system With AI For The Army
DARPA is developing a new system that will help military personnel complete complex tasks. Perceptually enabled Task Guidance (PTG) technology uses sensors to see and hear everything the user sees and hears, guiding them through instructions displayed in augmented reality (AR).
The idea of the headset is to help the military improve their skills and perform complex tasks better. DARPA focuses on three areas: battlefield medicine (for example, untrained personnel assisting medics in the field), provision (keeping military equipment in working order), and piloting (especially helicopters).
In training demonstrations, DARPA shows this technology in food preparation. Cooking is a good example of a complex physical problem that can be solved in many ways. There are many different objects, solids, liquids, things change state, so visually it’s quite complex.
