Apple Patented Replaceable Batteries For Smartphones, PCs And Other Gadgets
In its new patent, the company showed an unusual development aimed at standardizing batteries for different types of digital equipment. If it reaches mass production, users will be able to change the batteries of iPhones, iMacs and peripherals in a matter of seconds and even rearrange them from one device to another.
The document contains a description of removable Battery Shell battery units in standardized housings. It is assumed that computers, phones, mice and other devices of the brand will have a slot for quickly replacing such modules, which can be presented in several configurations.
It is assumed that the battery packs will also receive wireless communication modules to “communicate” with target devices and the charging station. Thanks to this, gadgets will be able to accurately determine the remaining charge, displaying it in the same way as when connecting the same AirPods.
