Anthropic Releases Powerful AI Model Claude 3.5 Sonnet
Anthropic announced and immediately launched a new large language model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet. According to the company, this neural network can match or even surpass the capabilities of OpenAI’s GPT-4o and Google’s Gemini.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is an improved version of the previous Claude 3 Opus, released just a few months ago and previously only available to paying Claude subscribers. The new model works twice as fast and shows significantly better results in a variety of tasks, including writing program code, working with large queries, and interpreting charts and graphs. The new neural network is now standard for the Claude chatbot and is available to both paid and free users. In fact, it is a response to GPT-4o, on which ChatGPT is currently built, including the free version.
The Artifacts feature has been added to the Claude application. It allows users to see and edit the results of AI queries directly in the application interface. According to the developers, the Artifacts feature is part of their desire to turn Claude into a single platform for storing knowledge and performing work tasks using the power of AI.
