Lenovo Tab Plus Gets 8 Speakers With A Power Of 26 W

The new Lenovo Tab Plus has become one of the most unusual Android tablets in recent years. Technically, it’s a standard entry-level model, but the device has a built-in kickstand and a powerful eight-speaker JBL audio system.

The tablet is equipped with an 11.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 400 cd/m2. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor (two Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2200 MHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2000 MHz). Lenovo Tab Plus will be available in configurations with 8 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of storage. The latter can be expanded by supporting microSD memory cards.

The device is equipped with two 8-megapixel cameras. The tablet received four low-frequency speakers and four subwoofers, which together provide power up to 26 W. Due to the powerful sound system, Tab Plus can be used as a Bluetooth speaker. When used with headphones, Tab Plus provides audio output at up to 24-bit/96 kHz sampling rates and Dolby Atmos support.

An 8600 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 45 W is responsible for autonomy. The device runs Android 14 and will receive OS updates for two years.

The Lenovo Tab Plus is priced at 280 euros or $290.
