Adidas Has Released Headphones With Charging From Sunlight And Artificial Light
Adidas has teamed up with Zound Industries to release new on-ear headphones. The main feature of the device is that they include panels that allow you to charge the model using natural and artificial light.
As the name suggests, the headphones can be recharged from the sun. They are equipped with Powerfoyle solar cells from the Swedish company Exeger. As the manufacturer notes, without light, pure autonomy reaches 80 hours in music playback mode. However, the bright sun is not required – recharging is possible even with artificial lighting, including a night light in the bedroom.
In extreme cases, you can charge the headphones via USB Type-C. They are equipped with 45 mm emitters, support Bluetooth 5.2, received protection against sweat and splashes (IPX4).
The Adidas RPT-02 Sol are priced at $229. Open sales start on August 23rd.
