Microsoft Started Testing Minecraft For Chromebook
Minecraft is one of the most popular and current games, with the original release of the game in its full version in 2011. Minecraft is currently available on a wide variety of devices such as smartphones, computers, and game consoles. However, until now, this list was missing a class of super-popular laptops – Chromebook. Things are changing as Microsoft releases a preview version of Minecraft for Chromebook to all users.
The Chromebook version of Minecraft also comes with all the features found in the Xbox and Windows PC editions of the game. This means that cross-platform functionality and the Minecraft Marketplace are fully available in the new port, allowing players to purchase community creations and join Minecraft Realm servers with their friends.
Microsoft and Mojang are aiming to bring the game to Chromebooks without compromising its capabilities. But keep in mind that while the game is in Early Access, players are expected to encounter some bugs along the way.
However, the game will require at least ChromeOS 111, 64-bit support and a processor, as well as at least 4 GB of RAM and enough space for a 1 GB installation.
