The Authors Of The Witcher Announced A Comic Book About Geralt And Yennefer In Corvo Bianco
According to the GamesRadar portal, a five-issue mini-series of comics, The Witcher: Corvo Bianco, created by Dark Horse in collaboration with CD Projekt RED, is being prepared for release.
The idea to bring Geralt out of retirement came from Bartosz Sztybor, CD Projekt RED’s narrative director for animation and comics. He considered the witcher’s retirement “an excellent premise for a Western.”
The Witcher: Corvo Bianco is a five-issue mini-series that will be a direct continuation of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its expansion Blood and Wine. According to the plot of the work, Geralt retires with the sorceress Yennefer and settles in the estate of Corvo Bianco. However, the quiet life does not last long – the witcher will have to defend his new home in a Western-style adventure.
The first of five issues of The Witcher: Corvo Bianco will be released on May 8th. The artist Corrado Mastantuono, a legend of Italian comics, is responsible for the illustrations in the mini-series.
