Xiaomi Officially Introduced The Xiaomi14
Xiaomi, as part of the presentation of new products, officially introduced the new family of Xiaomi 14 smartphones.
Xiaomi 14 is based on the new flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (one Kryo Prime core based on Cortex-X4 with a frequency of 3.3 GHz; five powerful Cortex-A720 cores – three with a frequency of 3.2 GHz, two with a frequency of 3.0 GHz; as well as two energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 750 graphics core). The smartphone can offer 8, 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, as well as 128, 256, 512 GB or 1 TB of USF 4.0 permanent memory.
The device body has flat edges with rounded corners. The new product is presented in black, white, green and pink versions. The pink version of the device is equipped with a leather back cover. The remaining options offer a glass lid. The infrared sensor is now located in the island of the main camera unit at the rear. The smartphone has an IP68 rating, indicating its resistance to water and dust.
The smartphone has a 6.36-inch flat OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a resolution of 2670 × 1200 pixels, a dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m2, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, PWM backlight control with a frequency of 1920 Hz, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro became the first smartphones with the proprietary Hyper OS operating system. It is a highly optimized Android that takes up 8.75 GB on the smartphone.
The cost of the starting version of Xiaomi 14 was 4299 yuan. Xiaomi 14 Pro was priced at a minimum of 5399 yuan.
