Vivo X100 And X100 Pro Presented: Flagships On MediaTek Dimensity 9300
Today there was a presentation at which the flagships vivo X100 and X100 Pro were presented. The new items look almost identical, but there are key differences in technical specifications
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones have a slim profile and a large protruding round camera module on the back. Both smartphones are equipped with 6.78-inch AMOLED screens with curved edges and a resolution of 1.5K (2800 × 1260 pixels), adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m2. The frequency of PWM brightness control reaches 2160 Hz. The devices are equipped with a fingerprint scanner built into the screen.
Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. These are the first smartphones to be powered by this chip, and are also the first smartphones to feature the latest, fastest and most energy-efficient 16GB LPDDR5T RAM.
The older new Vivo X100 Pro inherited from the X90 Pro+ smartphone a Sony IMX989 image sensor measuring 1 inch diagonally and with a resolution of 50 megapixels. It is equipped with f/1.75 aperture optics and also has optical image stabilization (OIS). The main camera is complemented by a wide-angle module with a 50 MP sensor and optics with an f/2.0 aperture and an equivalent focal length of 15 mm. The third is completed by a 50-megapixel camera with a 100-mm periscope telephoto lens with floating lenses (f/2.5) with 4.3x optical zoom, as well as 100x digital zoom.
The X100 Pro differs from the base version in that it is equipped with the new Vivo V3 signal processor, manufactured using a 6nm process technology. It is the one responsible for processing photos and videos from smartphone cameras. It offers a special mode for shooting sunrises and sunsets, as well as video recording in portrait and night modes in 4K resolution.

The smartphone came in four colors: black, fire, white and blue.
