Vivo Unveils V40e 

Vivo has unveiled another model in the V40 series. This is the Vivo V40e smartphone, which follows the design aesthetics of its predecessors, the V40 and V40 Pro. The new product received the same curved OLED screen and a similar main camera block on the rear panel.

The V40e is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU). The smartphone offers 8 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of storage. There is no way to increase the amount of storage.

The main camera unit of the smartphone consists of a 50-megapixel IMX882 sensor measuring 1/1.95 with support for optical stabilization and an 8-megapixel module for ultra-wide-angle shooting. The main camera can shoot video in 4K.

The smartphone display supports a resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and has a peak brightness of 4500 cd/m2. On the front side of the device there is a 50-megapixel camera based on a 1/2.76-inch sensor with autofocus support and the ability to shoot video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

The smartphone runs FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.

The Vivo V40e will go on sale on October 2 and will be available in two colours (Mint Green and Royal Bronze) and two storage configurations. The base model (8GB/128GB) will be priced at Rs 28,999, while the 8GB/256GB version will cost Rs 30,999.
