For The First Time In history, Two People Exchanged Messages In Their Sleep At A Distance
Scientists have managed to establish two-way communication between people during sleep for the first time. The scientists were able to connect the consciousness of two people sleeping in different parts of the house using special equipment, and they exchanged messages.
The experiment used “specially designed equipment,” the company said: “a server,” “a device,” “Wi-Fi,” and “sensors,” but did not provide details of the technology used. REMspace helped volunteers who slept in different houses exchange words in a special language. The technology has yet to be tested by scientists, but if confirmed, it would be a major advance in sleep research, psychiatry, skills training, and more, the company said.
After detecting that one participant had entered a lucid dream, the server generated a random word from a special language and transmitted it to the subject through headphones. The person repeated the word in his sleep, and the response was recorded and saved on the server. Eight minutes later, the second participant entered a lucid dream state – the server transmitted her the saved message from the first participant, and she repeated it upon waking up. REMspace said it was able to repeat the experiment with another pair of participants, but the research project must undergo rigorous testing before it can say that communication in dreams is possible.
