Season 3 Of “Star Wars: Bad Batch” Will Aair In 2024
Star Wars Celebration announced that the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch will receive a third and final season. This will happen as early as 2024, and it will be possible to watch it on the Disney + service.
The show is set after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. In the center of the plot are the experimental clones of Squad 99 Hunter, Echo, Tech, Crusher and Targeter. Due to the peculiarities of their device, the heroes are not affected by Order 66, which makes them a threat to the Empire. Opposing the power of the Sith, the five clones escape from service and form a squad of mercenaries, ready to take on the most dangerous tasks.
In addition to the announcement of the third season, the creators of the show presented a teaser of future episodes at Star Wars Celebration. The cutscene begins with Emperor Palpatine visiting cloning specialist Royce Hemlock on Mount Tantiss. Palpatine talks to a scientist about capturing Squad 99’s girlfriend, an Omega clone girl. He adds that “it’s extremely important to keep the facility safe.” At the end of the teaser, all members of Squad 99 appear on the screen. The hunter also informs his comrades about Omega’s capture.
