Samsung Refrigerators to Get AI Wallpaper
Owners of Family Hub refrigerators with touch screens will be able to generate unique wallpapers using a neural network. Samsung home appliances will also receive an updated voice assistant Bixby.
Owners of Family Hub refrigerators released in the US and South Korea after 2022 will be able to create unique wallpapers using AI. To do this, you need to choose one of seven themes and one of six artistic styles. The finished image can be installed on the refrigerator screen or saved to an album. A Wi-Fi connection is required for generation, and the number of wallpapers created is limited to five per day.
Bixby can now understand complex commands, remember previous conversations, and answer troubleshooting questions. For example, you can ask the AI to let your washing machine calculate the start time so it finishes an hour before your set time (like dinner time). You can also ask Bixby about error codes in your washing machine or the reasons for the strange clicking noises coming from your refrigerator.
