Apple Develops ‘AI Personality’ for Robot Assistants

According to the famous Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple has very big plans for artificial intelligence technologies. In particular, the company is developing a next-generation virtual assistant for future robotic devices.

As Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports, Apple is hard at work on a new, advanced AI assistant for its robots and robotic devices for use in the home and beyond. One key aspect of this development is creating not just an assistant, but an “AI personality.” While Siri is the digital assistant on Apple’s current devices, the “AI personality,” which has already been codenamed J595, will be a humanoid interface based on generative AI. “I’m told the interface could be implemented on desktop devices and other future Apple robotics gadgets,” Gurman writes in his Power On newsletter.

It is unclear what devices the journalist is talking about. However, there was information that Apple could develop a personal humanoid robot that could do various jobs around the house and more.
