Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 Show Up in Leaked Press Images
MySmartPrice has published an official press render from an anonymous source showing the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone.
The leaked footage shows two new Samsung smartphones folded. Both are turned by the outer screen towards the camera. On one screen, a photo of a girl is open, and on the other, a widget with player controls.
Judging by the render, Samsung has kept the location and appearance of the rear camera, USB-C port, and speaker holes. But the hinge will change: the drop-shaped mechanism will allow you to fold the halves close to each other, without a gap. A similar hinge is found in foldable smartphones from other manufacturers.
It is expected that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will receive a 7.6-inch main display covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a 6.2-inch external screen. Both are AMOLED and 120Hz. As a computing platform, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone can also get a 4400 mAh battery with fast charging (45 W) and a triple rear camera (50 + 12 + 10 MP).
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 5 as part of its next Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul on July 29th.
