Palworld Has Already Attracted 19 Million Players And Set A Game Pass Record
Palworld continues to gain traction on Steam. A seemingly simple indie game with an analogue of Pokemon conquers millions of players.
Palworld’s remarkable survival continues to reach new heights. The game recently set a new popularity record on Steam.
Palworld recently peaked at 2,101,867 online players on Steam. This result is still not enough to overcome the figure of the legendary PUBG (3,257,248).
Palworld was released in early access on January 19 on PC, Xbox and Game Pass. In less than a week, sales of the game on Steam exceeded 8 million copies, and on Xbox in the US, the project even surpassed Fortnite in popularity (though not for long).
According to developers from the Japanese studio Pocketpair, in less than two weeks Palworld was purchased on Steam by more than 12 million users. The game became only the second in the history of Valve’s service with a peak online audience of more than 2 million people.
Microsoft also notes that the achieved result makes the launch of Palworld on Game Pass the most successful in the history of the service among games from third-party developers. Previously, the record belonged to the comedy shooter High on Life.
