Nissan Unveils Max-Out Concept Roadster
At the end of autumn 2021, Nissan announced its development plans until 2030. Then it became known that by the specified date the manufacturer is going to launch 23 electrified models, and 15 of them will be completely “green”. According to the Nissan Ambition 2030 strategy, the share of electric cars and hybrids sold worldwide by the end of this decade should grow to 50%, while the plan is designed not only for the Nissan brand, but also for Infiniti.
That time Nissan presented several concepts. One of the show cars was a two-seater sports car with an open top. The roadster was named Max-Out. Now this concept has received a physical embodiment.
Unfortunately, there are very few details about Max-Out, the general design. The car looks definitely futuristic, but it also has a lot of retro design elements, including 80s-style headlights. The wheels and taillights look extremely chic, creating the “infinity effect” you get from a Spenser’s Gifts lamp. The design is a bit like the Dodge Challenger, but it would be a great replacement for the current Nissan Z. Inside, the car has a large screen that covers almost the entire front panel, as well as a Tesla steering wheel.
The fact that the Max-Out was originally shown under the slogan “Nissan Ambition 2030” also gives Nissan a few years to build. It could be powered by next-generation electric motors and maybe even future solid state battery technology.
