Apple Schedules iPhone 15 Presentation On September 12
Apple has set a date for its annual September event, during which we will surely learn everything about the iPhone 15 line, as well as new versions of other devices.
The presentation was called Wonderlust. The highlight of the program will be, as is always the case with the September presentations, will be the new iPhone. The announcement of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected this year.
One of the main innovations in the new iPhones will be the transition from the familiar Lightning connector to the ubiquitous USB Type-C. Thus, Apple will comply with the requirement of the European Union to equip all mobile gadgets with a standard charging port. According to rumors, the functionality of the USB port on the new iPhones, at least on the younger iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, will be limited to the speed of the USB 2.0 standard.
In addition, the new iPhone Pro-series will receive improved displays, the new Apple A18 Bionic chip, and other improvements. The older iPhone 15 Pro Max is credited with a new camera with a telephoto lens with a more powerful optical zoom. In turn, the younger iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are likely to receive displays not with a notch, but with an oblong cutout, like the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
The event will be structured similarly to the iPhone 14 presentation: pre-recorded video will be shown online and at the event at the company’s headquarters. After the presentation, invited guests will be able to test the iPhone 15 and the new Apple Watch.
