Meta Launches Digital Designer Clothing Store

The virtual clothing store for avatars should be up and running next week. According to TechCrunch, it will be launched in the United States, Canada, Thailand and Mexico to begin with.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on his Facebook page that the company is launching the Meta Avatars Store, a digital designer clothing store.

Balenciaga, Prada and Thom Browne will be the first to present their clothes in the digital boutique. Prices have not yet been announced. In the future, the number of brands for the metaverse is planned to expand.

At the same time, free clothing options for Meta avatars will still be available.

According to Zuckerberg, fashionable clothes will help users express themselves even better through avatars.

In May, it became known that Mark Zuckerberg’s company was studying scenarios for creating the Zuck Bucks virtual currency.
